Prof. Joy C. Kwesiga to Speak at UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) Parallel Virtual Event

We are thrilled to announce that Prof. Joy Constance Kwesiga, Vice Chancellor of Kabale University, will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) Parallel Virtual Event. The event, titled “An Intergenerational Conversation on Beijing+30: Sustaining the Momentum!”, will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM EAT.

This prestigious event is convened by the Gender Mainstreaming Directorate (GMD) at Makerere University, Uganda, and the 4W Women & Wellbeing Initiative at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. It aims to foster intergenerational dialogue on gender equality and women’s empowerment, reflecting on the progress made since the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.
