Kabale University will host the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Career Expo 2026, a nationwide initiative aimed at preparing students and young professionals for the rapidly evolving world of work.
Held under the theme “Man or Machine: Exploring AI’s Impact on Careers,” this year’s Expo focuses on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping industries, redefining skills, and creating new career pathways. The Expo goes beyond a conventional career fair, offering participants practical tools, insights, and networks needed to thrive in an AI-driven economy.
Participants will engage with industry leaders, AI practitioners, career strategists, and hiring professionals who are actively navigating technological change. The sessions will explore how AI is not only automating routine tasks but also increasing demand for human-centered skills such as critical thinking, creativity, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.
The Expo will also provide strategic career guidance, enabling students to understand how to position themselves for future opportunities, build relevant competencies, and align their academic training with market demands. Attendees will gain exposure to emerging career trends, workplace expectations, and practical approaches to leveraging AI as a tool for career growth rather than a threat.
As part of a broader national outreach, the NSSF Career Expo is conducted across multiple universities, equipping thousands of students with employability skills, financial literacy, and insights into career planning and entrepreneurship.
Kabale University students are encouraged to take advantage of this unique opportunity to interact with leading professionals, expand their networks, and gain clarity on navigating the future of work.
