Kabale University Law Students to Visit the Parliament of Uganda

The Faculty of Law at Kabale University has organized an academic visit for second-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) students to the Parliament of the Republic of Uganda on Tuesday, 18th November 2025. The visit is designed to deepen students’ understanding of the legislative process and expose them to real-life parliamentary operations as part of the faculty’s experiential learning initiatives.

During the visit, the students will observe parliamentary proceedings, interact with Members of Parliament and gain practical insights into how laws are debated and enacted. This hands-on experience bridges the gap between theory and practice, reinforcing their academic studies in constitutional and administrative law.

A flag-off ceremony will be held on Monday, 17th November 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at the Kabale University main bus parking area. The event will be officiated by members of University Management alongside the Dean of the Faculty of Law.
It will mark the official send-off of the students and faculty members heading to Kampala.

The ceremony symbolizes Kabale University’s continued commitment to nurturing competent, patriotic and justice-oriented graduates ready to contribute to Uganda’s governance and legal systems.

This academic exposure demonstrates Kabale University’s dedication to producing graduates who combine legal knowledge with civic awareness and practical experience.
