Kabale University Hult Prize on Campus Competition

The Hult Prize Foundation is a disruptive global leader in social entrepreneurship and youth empowerment for the 21st century. The Hult Prize has brought impact focused programs, events, and training to over a million students globally from 120+ countries, creating a pathway for youth everywhere to take action to build a better world. Each year, tens of thousands of university students from dozens of countries participate, and since its inception, participants have represented 5,000+ institutions of higher education.

With a $1,000,000 global startup prize as its anchor activity, the Hult Prize has brought impact focused programs, all starting with its emblematic OnCampus Program. OnCampus events allow more students to compete around the world, leading to more ideas and ultimately more social enterprises poised to target some of the most complex global issues.

Kabale University will be hosting its first local edition for its students to tackle this year’s challenge entitled SDGs Unlimited on 23rd February, 2024 . Twenty Four teams of 3-5 students will be granted 4 minutes to pitch their idea for a social enterprise to a panel of three judges.

The winners of this OnCampus event will automatically advance to compete in the Hult Prize Summits in Nairobi and continue on the run for its one-of-a-kind award in seed-capital of 1M USD to change the world.

The OnCampus organizing committee led by Isagara Peter, the OnCampus Director with support from the 8th Guild Government invites you to witness Kabale University entrepreneurs’ world changing ideas.
