The Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences is hosting an event on November 16, 2023, starting at 10:00 to present students’ projects. The event will feature:
- Students demonstrating the use of locally available materials for field crop pest control (organic crop pesticides).
- Students showcasing modern farming techniques to enhance crop production.
- Experiments comparing the effectiveness of organic and inorganic fertilizers.
- Demonstrations on the significance of establishing improved pasture for farmers, including students’ field identification of pasture and demonstrations of pasture agronomic practices.
The event will take place at the University Farm near the faculty administration block. All students, staff, and well-wishers are cordially invited.
