
Kabale University will participate in the 5th Association of Uganda University Sports Women Games 2026, organized by the Association of Uganda University Sports. The prestigious one day event will take place on Sunday, 8th March 2026 at Hams Stadium in Kampala.
The Games are organized in line with the approved AUUS activity calendar and are intended to celebrate International Women’s Day while promoting sports development for the girl child. This year marks the 5th edition of the AUUS Women Games, highlighting the continued commitment to advancing women’s participation in university sports across Uganda.
The competition will feature four disciplines: Soccer, Netball, Basketball and Chess. Kabale University will field teams in Chess, Netball and Soccer, showcasing the institution’s dedication to nurturing talent, encouraging healthy competition and empowering female student athletes.
Participation is open to certified students pursuing Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degrees who meet the stipulated eligibility criteria. AUUS will award trophies to the winning teams and certificates of participation to all attendees.
Kabale University remains committed to promoting inclusive sports programs that strengthen teamwork, leadership and resilience among students.
