The Department of Orthopaedics at Kabale University School of Medicine, in collaboration with Kabale Regional Referral Hospital, invites you to Scoliosis Week from 9th to 15th March 2025.
This week-long event aims to raise awareness about scoliosis, educate healthcare workers and the general public and offer critical diagnostic and treatment services for spine deformities.
Event Objectives:
- Raise Awareness: Increase knowledge about scoliosis among the public and healthcare professionals.
- Education: Provide guidance on the diagnosis and treatment of scoliosis.
- Free Screening: Offer complimentary screening services for suspected scoliosis cases.
- Treatment Services: Provide treatment options, including bracing and surgical management.
Target Group:
- Children and adolescents aged 0–17 years with spine deformities.
Event Highlights:
- Free scoliosis screening services.
