    Renowned Political Scientist, Aarhus University, Denmark

This public lecture will explore critical issues shaping Uganda’s productive sectors, with a particular focus on agriculture. Prof. Kjaer will analyze power structures, political interests and policy implementation that affect agricultural development and food system governance in Uganda.

The discussion will address questions such as:

  • How do political dynamics influence agricultural policy and productivity?
  • What roles do different stakeholders play in shaping the sector?
  • What lessons can be drawn to improve governance and implementation?
