The French Department at Kabale University’s Institute of Language Studies is hosting International Francophone Day on April 19th, 2024. This worldwide celebration focuses on the theme “Create and Innovate in French.”
During the event, we’ll gather to discuss the challenges and achievements in teaching and learning French. Various activities and exhibitions will highlight the importance of French education, recognized as one of the United Nations’ working languages and endorsed by the East African Community.
To promote French education in the Kabale region, we’ve established French clubs in two secondary schools: Kabale Secondary School and St. Paul’s Seminary Rushoroza. We’re excited to welcome 50 students from these schools to showcase their presentations.
You’re invited to join us at Kabale University Main Campus from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Your presence would mean a lot to us.
