The Department of Mathematics at Kabale University is set to host a one-day Mathematics and Science empowerment event in seven secondary schools in Ntungamo District under the theme:
“Applications of Mathematics in Real Life.”
The event will take place at Kyamate Secondary School, which will serve as the host school, and will bring together students from:
- Kyamate SS (Host School)
- Ntungamo High School
- Ntungamo Girls’ SS
- Nyakyera SS
- Rwashemeire SS
- Muntuyera High School
- Standard College Ntungamo
Objective of the Event
This initiative aims to inspire and encourage secondary school students to pursue careers in Mathematics and Science fields at higher education institutions. Experts from Kabale University will engage students in practical discussions and interactive sessions to demonstrate how Mathematics is applied in various real-life scenarios.
