The SEBU (Site Selection to Protect Papyrus Endemic Biodiversity in Uganda) Project at Kabale University will participate in the global celebration of World Wetlands Day on February 2, 2024, focusing on the theme “Wetlands and Human Well-being.” This significant day provides an opportunity for reflection on our efforts in wetland conservation and aims to increase awareness of the value of wetlands for humanity and the planet. The Exhibition is scheduled to commence at 8:30 am in Gulu City Booma Grounds.
As part of the commemoration, key activities will include the exhibition of materials by individuals and other institutions with a vested interest in wetland management.
