The Startup 101 Bootcamp at Kabale University is brought to you by StartHub Africa, the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, the National ICT Hub, Regional ICT Innovation Hub at Kabale University from 5th – 9th February 2024 and its designed to provide the participants with hands-on entrepreneurship skills, support them in identifying and starting innovative ideas and make the first steps on your innovation and entrepreneurship journey. We shall start with the Training of Trainers where Five Staff members will be mentored on 3rd February 2024
Over the course of the program, participants will have engaged in a diverse range of activities, each crafted to develop their entrepreneurial skills and knowledge:
- Day 1: Introduction to Entrepreneurship and case studies of successful entrepreneurs
- Day 2: Practical Business Challenge in the field
- Day 3: Innovation & Design-Thinking Part I (Identify business opportunities)
- Day 4: Innovation & Design-Thinking Part II (Refine ideas and test them in the field)
- Day 5: Financials, Business Models & Pitching
We expect forty (40) participants who have been selected and confirmed from over One hundred (100) applicants from the different programmes at Kabale University.
