About Presenter
Dr. Mukasa Tibandeke is a seasoned chemist with over 30 years of teaching and research experience in the field. His journey started in the late 80s when he obtained his BSc. in Chemistry
Z (1987). Later, in 1988, he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and was posted as a secondary school teacher. In 1992, he was appointed a teaching assistant at Makerere University—a position he held until 2012. Dr. Mukasa received his MSc in chemistry in 1997 and later a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Makerere University in 2017.
He has worked in the Department of Chemistry at Kabale University since 2019. Here, he teaches basic physical chemistry, basic organic chemistry, electrochemistry, transition metal chemistry, colloid sciences, and polymer chemistry.
