IFMS Training on Full Implementation of Item Master in the Fixed Asset Module

Kabale University will host a mandatory Institutional Financial Management System (IFMS) training focusing on the full implementation of the Item Master within the Fixed Asset Module. The training is organized by the Office of the Accountant General and aims to strengthen institutional capacity in public financial management and asset accountability.

This training is part of ongoing efforts to ensure effective utilization of IFMS across public entities and to enhance compliance, transparency, and efficiency in asset management processes at Kabale University.

Objectives of the Training

  • To equip participants with practical skills on the full implementation of the Item Master in the Fixed Asset Module
  • To enhance proper usage of IFMS for asset registration, tracking, and reporting
  • To identify operational challenges encountered during IFMS usage and document them for system improvement
  • To strengthen institutional compliance with public financial management standards

Additional Information
All invited participants are required to attend in person. Participants are encouraged to prepare and document any challenges experienced while using IFMS and share them during the training sessions to support system improvement initiatives.
