Kabale University will hold a Farewell Ceremony in Honour of Prof. Joy Constance Kwesiga, former Vice Chancellor, in recognition of her exceptional leadership and dedicated service to the University.
Organised by the Chancellor, University Council and Senate, the ceremony will bring together members of the University community, government officials, alumni, development partners, cultural and religious leaders, family members, friends and other invited guests to celebrate Prof. Kwesiga’s legacy and lasting contribution to the advancement of Kabale University.
During her tenure as Vice Chancellor, Prof. Joy Constance Kwesiga provided visionary leadership that strengthened the University’s academic excellence, research, community engagement, institutional governance and national and international visibility. Her commitment to quality higher education and inclusive institutional development has left an enduring impact on Kabale University and the communities it serves.
The ceremony will feature tributes and speeches from representatives of students, alumni, staff, family, the founding bodies, the community, University Management, the University Council, the Chancellor and the Chief Guest. The programme will also include a special University tribute, a farewell address by Prof. Joy Constance Kwesiga, presentation of gifts, a group photograph and lunch.
Kabale University is honoured to host this significant occasion as the University community joins together to express appreciation for Prof. Kwesiga’s dedicated service and celebrate her remarkable legacy.
