The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology received a Global Grant from Rotary International to support the training of Reproductive Health Service Providers from a number of Health Facilities in Rubanda, Rukiga, and Kabale Districts. These will be joined by a selected group of staff from the Tororo district. The staff are being trained in order to create a nucleus team to be used to initiate screening services.
The training is scheduled to start on Saturday 19th February 2022 with a planned launch by the Governor Rotary District 9214, the Vice-Chancellor Kabale University, the Director Kabale Regional Referral Hospital and, the District Health Officers Kabale, Rukiga, and Rubanda.
